=Scenario: Video=
Videos are everywhere. One could say that they have been one of the dominating forms of media consumption in the last decades. They are an integral part of our everyday life and we consume them through different kinds of media. Entertainment and learning are the main things we draw from them. Producing and distributing videos has become increasingly easy and popular. Since the digital revolution and the invention of the internet we are moving away from single made and expensive film production with big studios involved to private and individual video making. Sharing and producing has become so easy that in some cases video platforms like YouTube have replaced traditional television as we know it. A big part of those videos are not only for entertainment purposes but rather for education. Millions of tutorials, How-Tos and taped lessons have been uploaded since then and the number of informally learning students is rising accordingly. Therefore using video in class and seminars is a great opportunity for both learners and teachers.

==Timeframe: short/medium/long==
Benefit for teacher/learner (pedagogical approach)
- Creative and different way of presenting information
- Multiple use cases and possibilities
- Easy to use and for free

==For teachers:==
- Teachers can enable students to work collaboratively
- The output created by the students can be graded by the teacher

==For learners:==
- Receive and provide information
- Present information in a different format
- Learn how to make use of devices being accessible to them in order (part of the creative process)

==Goal/Expected Outcome (content):==
- Collaborative learning
- Students explore one of the main formats of video filming

==Role of the teacher + role of the learner==

Teachers provide information about the technicals of video making (storyboards, scripting, types of learning videos)
Introduce learners to different forms of recording video (e.g. camera angles, camera settings)
Introduce learners to different forms of cutting and editing videos

Learners learn how to put a vast amount of information into a comprehensive and brief video
Learners learn how to produce for a certain audience
learn how to take copyright regulations into account, therefore the learners know how to find and use e.g. creative commons

==Pedagogical added value==
Working creatively includes the obligation to reflect upon the creative decisions made by each and every video produced
The creative process is in the forefront
Results of this creative process are to be found in the final video which can be graded/rated by every other group member or teacher
openness of working in a group with multiple collaborative elements promote team building
